On January 25, 2023, Correia & Puth’s Andrew Adelman moderated a conversation with Judge J. Michelle Childs, confirmed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in July 2022. The event was a part of the “A Conversation with” Series co-sponsored by the Federal Bar Association D.C. Chapter and D.C. Bar’s Litigation Community. Mr. Adelman is a member of the Steering Committee for the D.C. Bar’s Litigation Community. As a way of introducing Judge Childs, one of the District’s newest federal jurists, to members of the legal community, Mr. Adelman and Judge Childs discussed her background and prior judicial experience, her transition to D.C. and as an appellate jurist, her practice preferences, and advice for new and experienced attorneys. The event was held at the University of Arizona Washington D.C. Center for Outreach & Collaboration, with attendees participating in-person and through Zoom.
