On March 1, 2024, the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association (MWELA) hosted its annual conference under the leadership of Correia & Puth Partner and MWELA President Lauren Khouri. The event featured attorneys, judges, and outside experts discussing topics concerning plaintiff’s employment practice including strategic case planning, settlements, and AI. At the conference, MWELA awarded its Lifetime Achievement Award to Joseph D. Gebhardt and its Lawyer of the Year Award to Philip B. Zipin.
