On March 3, Correia and Puth’s Lauren Khouri was installed as the new president of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association (MWELA). MWELA is the local chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, a national organization of more than 3,000 lawyers dedicated to the advancement of employee rights. MWELA’s attorneys are dedicated to protecting the rights and privileges of employees in both the private and public sectors of the Washington metropolitan area workforce. MWELA is committed to promoting workplace fairness and the right of employees to work in an environment free of discrimination. Correia and Puth congratulates Ms. Khouri on her election and installation, and looks forward to the year ahead.
