On Friday, October 17, 2025, Correia & Puth Partner Subhashini Bollini served as a panelist at the opening night plenary session of the Peggy Browning Fund’s 28th annual National Law Students Workers’ Rights Conference (NLSWRC). The annual conference brings together law students, and labor lawyers, leaders, and organizers to discuss the future of workers’ rights and advancing workplace justice through the practice of law.
Rise Up General Counsel Suzanne Summerlin moderated a panel discussion titled “The War on Federal Workers: Responding to the Movement with Rise Up & Democracy Forward,” in which Ms. Bollini joined champions of federal workers’ rights Rob Shriver (Democracy Forward), Craig Becker (AFL-CIO), and Andrew Huddleston (AFGE).
Having represented federal sector employees for many years, Ms. Bollini offered her perspective on why many federal workers have sought legal advice from law firms like Correia & Puth and the Rise Up Federal Workers Legal Defense Network to fight back against the Trump administration’s sweeping and often-unlawful efforts to reduce the ranks of the federal workforce.
