The New York Times reported on Correia & Puth client Jennifer Capasso. Ms. Capasso is a patient at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and filed a lawsuit against the medical institution in March 2025 following years of misgendering and mistreatment based on her gender identity. The New York Times story details a part of Ms. Capasso’s discriminatory experience at MSK: her discovery that MSK’s medical professionals were denigrating her gender identity while she was under anesthesia in the operating room.
Ms. Capasso is proudly represented by Correia & Puth, PLLC and Wardenski P.C.
