Correia & Puth’s Andrew Adelman organized “A Conversation with Judge Jia M. Cobb,” an event to introduce recently-confirmed Judge Jia M. Cobb to members of the legal community. The event was a part of the “A Conversation with” Series, which Mr. Adelman organized through his involvement with the D.C. Bar’s Litigation Community Steering Committee and which was also co-sponsored by the Federal Bar Association D.C. Chapter. Judge Cobb was confirmed by the U.S. Senate in October 2021 to be a judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. During the event, Judge Cobb discussed her background and prior legal experience, her transition to the bench, and practice preferences. Correia & Puth congratulates Judge Cobb on her confirmation as one of the District’s newest federal jurists.
