From June 26-29, Correia & Puth attorneys attended the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) Annual Conference. NELA is a national organization of plaintiff-side employment lawyers dedicated to advancing worker's rights. Partner Subhashini Bollini moderated an informative panel with EEOC Chair Charlotte Burrows and Solicitor of Labor Seema Nanda, discussing cases the EEOC and DOL are working on, public responses to agency guidelines, ongoing outreach initiatives, and other efforts the agencies are undertaking advance workplace justice. Managing Partner Linda Correia was honored as a departing board member after 10 years as a NELA Board Member and 2 years as NELA president. We thank all of the NELA staff and volunteers for their tireless work putting together this fantastic conference.
